The ILES (Integrated Local Energy Systems) project is part of the Just Transition Fund (FTJ). As a reminder, this is a portfolio of research projects coordinated by UMONS, dedicated to the development of integrated energy communities (heating, cooling, electricity). To highlight the activities of this large-scale project, IIS CETWA is offering a series of interviews aimed at showcasing the researchers involved in the project, as well as their contributions to the technological and software solutions supporting the local energy transition. Here is the interview with Tudor Craciunescu (PhD student in the Chemistry Department at UMONS), who shares his role and perspective on the work carried out within the ILES project.
